Particle Size Analyzer

Partica LA-960S Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer with SolvoFlow Pump System

  • The LA-960s unit features a wide measurement of particle size distribution ranging from 10nm to 5000μm.
  • The Method Expert in LA-960s enables guided and automated tests with the option to choose values for refractive index, concentration, ultrasonic dispersion, pump speed, as well as duration of measurement.
  • Particle size distribution measurement is used for quality control for materials such as ceramics, cement, drugs and polymers.
  • LA-960s is equipment with accessories for suspensions, emulsions, powders, pastes, gels and creams.

Specifications:

  • Measurement range is 0.01 to 5,000 micrometers
  • Sample requirement is 10mg to 5g per measurement with 250ml flow cell
  • Dilution volume for the sample can be up to 280ml
  • Solvent compatibility with most organic solvents.  Wetted materials stainless steel, perfluorolastomer, Teflon, titanium glass
