Partica LA-960S Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer with SolvoFlow Pump System
The LA-960S is a fully integrated system composed of a measurement unit incorporating a dicode laser, LED light source, photo detector array, side and rear scatter detectors, control section, sample chamber and a sample recirculating system (which incorporates an ultrasonic probe, flow cell and a centrifugal circulation pump that stirs, disperses and pumps). The Method Expert in LA-960S enables guided and automated tests with the option to chose values for refraction index, concentration, ultrasonic dispersion, pump speed, as well a duration of measurement. Particle size distribution measurement is used for quality control of materials such as ceramics, cement, drugs, and polymers and is equipped with accessories for suspensions, emulsions, powders, pastes, gels, and creams.

- Measurement range is 0.01 to 5,000 micrometers
- Sample requirement is 10mg to 5g per measurement with 250ml flow cell
- Dilution volume for the sample can be up to 280ml
- Solvent compatibility with most organic solvents. Wetted materials stainless steel, perfluorolastomer, Teflon, titanium glass
