Reservations

General guidelines for using the web scheduler:

    • Instruments can be scheduled up to 2 weeks in advance
    • The instruments can be reserved 24/7 by qualified users and Mon-Fri, 8-5 for trainees
    • The XPS and Nanoindenter may be reserved for 24-hr blocks.  For all other instruments, you may reserve up to 6-hr blocks with a maximum of 12 hrs per day
    • Reservations must be cancelled at least 24 hrs in advance.  If you need to cancel within 24 hrs, you must contact one of the MCF staff.  If a reservation is not cancelled, you will be charged for the time.
    • Users are required to log in before starting their experiments and log out once the session is complete.  Any problems with the instrument should be noted in the log book.
